Tycoon Perussion Announces Key USA Distribution Partner

Tycoon Perussion Announces Key USA Distribution Partner - The Music Link
Tycoon Percussion has appointed The Music Link (TML) as our distribution partner in the USA. The Music Link will represent Tycoon Percussion throughout the United States and stock top selling products in their San Francisco, CA and Knoxville, TN warehouses. This agreement is extremely beneficial to our east coast dealers as they can now realize significant freight savings by purchasing products from TML’s Knoxville warehouse. The distribution agreement also gives dealers in the United States an option of buying directly from Tycoon Percussion or through The Music Link.

Made in Brazil is another key member that has recently joined the family of Tycoon Percussion distributors. As one of the leading musical instrument companies in Brazil, Made in Brazil was a logical choice for a distribution partner who can immediately establish the brand in this important percussion market.

Tycoon Percussion is delighted to have this partnership in place and we will work closely with Made in Brazil to make the brand one of the strongest in the South American market

Women in 20s - India's new business tycoons
By siliconindia news bureau
Monday,14 September 2009, 08:47 hrs Comment(37)PrintForward
New Delhi: The fresh entrants in the Indian business environment, are a young bunch of confident women in the clutch of twenty something. Its no more the days when the sons of the business tycoons were the default trademark to make it big in the business world. From Roshni Nadar, offspring of Indian tech billionaire Shiv Nadar, to Lakshmi Venu, the 26-year-old daughter of TVS supremo Venu Srinivasan, these fresh entrants in India are here for the long run, reports Economic Times.

"It was only in 2006 that I decided to join the group full time, at which time I went back to school to professionally train myself and get further educated in order to take on greater responsibilities within the group. As a group, we aspire to be a $10 billion group in the future and I would like to play my part in making that happen by creating value in the areas of business that I'm focusing on - Innovative Technologies and Finance," said Divya Modi, who holds a 24 percent stake in her father B K Modi's Spice Group. The skills acquired, through their management degrees, come handy for the young girls to be their father's right hand in business. An MBA from Kellogg School Of Business, Roshni is currently supervising the education initiatives of the philanthropic arm of her family business

Being from a business family, their hand on the varied matters of the industry at large keeps them well-grounded to excel in the arena. 28-year-old Devita Saraf, Director at Zenith and CEO of Vu Technologies describes herself as a young, curious and naughty girl. She started training at Zenith at the age of 16. As a young person, especially as a woman, everyone is willing to give you free advice. You have to listen, learn and appreciate peoples roles in your business.

1: Some have an advantage of Trying and Really Not Risking.
And few others have the advantage of Trying and Complaining.
But most of those few, do really have the advantage of Trying and Taking Credits if Victorious and Shifting Responsibility if Otherwise.

Business magnate

A business magnate, sometimes referred to as a mogul, tycoon, baron, oligarch, or industrialist, is a partially informal term used to refer to a person who has reached a prominent place in a particular industry (or set of industries) and whose wealth has been derived primarily therefrom.
[edit] Description
Such people usually amass substantial fortunes in the process, and tend to become widely known in connection with their business(es) or through other pursuits such as philanthropy. The terms "mogul", "tycoon" and "baron" were often attributed to late 19th and early 20th century North American business magnates in extractive industries such as mining, logging and petroleum, transportation fields such as shipping and railroads, and manufacturing: this includes steelmaking, banking, and newspaper publishing. This era was known as the Second Industrial Revolution or the Gilded Age.
Examples of well-known business magnates include Sir Richard Branson of Virgin Group, utility and transportation magnate Samuel Insull, newspaper magnate William Randolph Hearst of the Hearst Corporation, oil magnate John D. Rockefeller of Standard Oil, software magnate Bill Gates of Microsoft, steel magnate Lakshmi Mittal of Mittal Steel Company and poultry magnate Frank Perdue of Perdue Farms.
In Russia and some other post-Soviet countries, the term "business oligarch" has become popular.
[edit] Etymology
The word tycoon is derived from the Japanese word taikun (太君?), itself borrowed from the Chinese 太君 dai kwan, which means "great lord," and it was used as a title for the shogun. The word entered the English language in the nineteenth century with the return of Commodore Perry to the United States. U.S. President Abraham Lincoln was humorously referred to as the Tycoon by his aides John Nicolay and John Hay. The term spread to the business community, where it has been used ever since.
The word mogul refers to the Mughal Empire (mughal being Persian or Arabic for "Mongol") of Indian Subcontinent that existed between 1526 and 1857: the early Mughal emperors claimed a heritage dating back to Mongol ruler Genghis Khan. The modern meaning of the word is supposedly derived from the storied riches of the Mughal emperors, which for example produced the Taj Mahal.
The word magnate itself derives from the Latin word magnates (plural of magnas), meaning "great person" or "great nobleman."
As the term industrialist (from Latin industria, "diligence, industriousness") was more widely used in the context of "old world" physical industries such as steel, oil, newspapers, shipping and rail transport, it has largely been superseded by the other, more modern terms that encompass a wider range of virtual business and commercial activity.

tycoon game review

If you're looking for a management game that won't overwhelm you with details and spreadsheets, School Tycoon should be right up your alley.
Just when you thought you'd been the tycoon of everything, along comes School Tycoon. The game puts you in charge of a school's operations, so you must make concessions between the school's budget and the students' education. It's rather simple for a tycoon game, and there are some noticeable bugs that can be frustrating. However, the game's simplicity does work well to create an entertaining strategy gaming experience, as long as you're not looking for a hardcore number-crunching game.

You'll be responsible for laying the pathways as well as hiring staff.
Right from the start, you know School Tycoon is going to be lighthearted. The introduction cinematic is amusing to watch because it features a stressed-out, bumbling principal who boils over the edge and tells you to run the school. You apparently take him up on the offer, so you can either solve 24 challenges or build a school from the ground up in a sandbox mode. The challenge mode is divided into eight beginner, eight intermediate, and eight difficult scenarios where you'll have to do everything from merely getting 30 students into your school to earning $100,000 within a certain time frame. The beginner challenges will only take you about an hour to finish in total, while even one difficult challenge can take you several hours to solve. If you want to start from scratch, you can play the instant action mode. This sandbox mode has no objectives, so you can just build and build to your heart's content.
You can construct all sorts
