Pamela Murray-Jones, General Manager Marketing itc

Pamela holds a joint appointment as General Manager Marketing for ITC and Director Marketing, Recruitment and Partnerships for the University of Wollongong.

Pamela has a strong background in building commercially robust education businesses. Prior to joining ITC in February 2009, she held senior roles in schools, universities and TAFE, as well as in corporate education.

Her particular expertise lies in the marketing of commercial education services and the development of strategic alliances. She was one of the pioneers of workplace delivery and off-shore delivery in TAFE NSW, and as General Manager for Director and Board Development at the Australian Institute of Company Directors, she oversaw the development and marketing of the International Company Directors Course, the only program of its kind to be successfully run off-shore.

Outside her core role, Pamela has a particular interest in corporate governance. She holds corporate governance qualifications from both Australia and New Zealand and is a practising director. She has taught directors in Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, and as far afield as Sri Lanka where, following the 2004 tsunami, she delivered a course on risk management at the invitation of CIMA Global (UK) to CEOs of leading companies.

Pamela's role within ITC and UOW is to develop a consistent, integrated domestic and international marketing strategy. The role includes responsibility for UOW’s UniAdvice and ITC’s marketing activities in various niche areas including film, aviation and health care education. The key objective of the role is to ensure that the ITC Group remains at the forefront of the development of successful education brands by meeting the challenges posed by current changes in the domestic and international education market and the possible impact of the global financial crisis.
